“In January 2012, the Stark County Health Department updated regulations
regarding home septic systems which utilize aerobic treatment units
(aerators). All homeowners with an aerobic treatment unit are required to
have a current service contract and maintain a contract for the life of
the system. Aerobic systems are highly mechanical. Continual maintenance
of these types of systems is vital for proper wastewater treatment.
