NOTICE TO RESIDENTS: The Stark County Engineer's
Office presented information on two(2) major intersections in Nimishillen Township. 1. PARIS AVENUE AND MEESE ROAD 2. PARIS AVENUE AND EASTON STREET The meeting was held on Tuesday, November 20th at 6:00 PM at the Nimishillen Township Hall (Fire Sta #2) on Maplegrove. This informal meeting, was presented by the staff from the Stark County Engineer's Office, to update residents as to what has progressed in the preliminary design phase of these two intersection improvements. |

 On Thursday, January 11, Allen E. Gress was sworn in by Fiscal Officer Carlene M. Harmon as Township Trustee. Mr. Gress will fill the term vacated by former Township Trustee Todd Bosley, who was successful in his bid for Stark County Commissioner in the November 2006 general election. Mr. Gress’ term of office will run through December 31, 2007. |

"AN OPPORTUNITY FOR CITIZEN INVOLVEMENT" |

In a continuing effort to hear from and keep in touch with all the residents, we are announcing the formation of the Nimishillen Township Citizens Advisory Committee. This committee will be appointed by the Board of Trustees and will be made up of 18 Nimishillen Township residents (two from each township voting precinct). No member of the committee shall be a present or past township employee. There is no political agenda connected with this committee. The schedule of public meetings will be determined upon formation. The trustees have suggested that they meet once a month, but that is subject to change. More information is available in the Narrative Winter Edition. |
