Important rules and information about aerators from Stark County. (click here)   “In January 2012, the Stark County Health Department updated regulations regarding home septic systems which utilize aerobic treatment units (aerators).  All homeowners with an aerobic treatment unit are required to have a current service contract and maintain a contract for the life of the system.  Aerobic systems are highly mechanical.  Continual maintenance of these types of systems is vital for proper wastewater treatment.  Please contact a licensed service provider to obtain a service contract.  A list of providers can be found on our website www.starkhealth.org. If you have any questions please contact Courtney Myers at 330-493-9904 ext 239.”
