Variance

APPLYING FOR A VARIANCE (BZA)

 

Items needed at the time of payment when applying for a variance:

 

  1. $300.00 Fee, non-refundable

  2. Name, address, zip code and phone number of the applicant

  3. Drawings / Site Plans (8 copies)

  4. List of neighbors or property owner: name, complete address including zip code (all adjoining property owners – in front, behind and on both sides)

Deadline is the first (1st) business day of the month.

Conditional Use Permit (CUP)

APPLYING FOR

A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT (CUP)

 

Items needed at the time of payment when applying for a variance:

 

  1. $200.00 Fee, non-refundable

  2. Name, address, zip code and phone number of the applicant

  3. Drawings / Site Plans (8 copies)

  4. List of neighbors or property owner: name, complete address including zip code (all adjoining property owners – in front, behind and on both sides)

Deadline is the first (1st) business day of the month.

All complaints must be forwarded to the zoning office on an official complaint form as O.R.C. code requires paperwork for validity of resident complaint. The office will accept email attachments or walk-ins.

Unmowed grass and weeds exceeding 8 inches serve as breeding grounds for mosquitoes and rodents and is a menace to the health of residents and considered a public nuisance.  Nimishillen Township Zoning regulates grass height.
